UM Palembang Melaksanakan Kegiatan Sosialisasi SINTA dan Google Scholar untuk Dosen FKIP UM Palembang

FKIP UMPalembang – Jumat (25/05/2018) Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang melalui Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) mengadakan Sosialisasi SINTA dan Google Scholar kepada Dosen FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan mulai pukul 09.00 ini dibuka oleh Ibu Erliza Yuniarti, S.T., M.T. Beliau berpesan bahwa memiliki akun SINTA adalah suatu kewajiban bagi dosen karena seluruh aktivitas akademik dari dosen tersebut baik yang meliputi penelitian dan pengabdian dapat diakses secara online melalui SINTA tersebut.

Sosialisasi dipandu secara langsung oleh Tim Verifikator SINTA UM Palembang, Bapak Sulton Nawawi, S.Pd., M.Pd. Kegiatan tersebut diselenggarakan dengan tujuan agar seluruh dosen FKIP UM Palembang sudah terverifikasi di akun SINTA, sehingga peringkat UM Palembang dapat ditingkatkan.

Kegiatan diawali dengan pembuatan akun gmail bagi dosen yang belum memiliki akun gmail karena akun gmail tersebut digunakan untuk pembuatan google scholar. Selanjutnya adalah pembuatan akun Google Scholar yang menggunakan gmail sebagai alamat emailnya.

Setelah seluruh dosen sudah memiliki akun Google Scholar, selanjutnya mulai membuat akun SINTA bagi dosen yang belum memilikinya. Syarat untuk pembuatan akun SINTA adalah email institusi yang didapatkan melalui konfirmasi kepada bagian IT UM Palembang.
